DESCRIPTION
Dorset is famous for it’s coastline and countryside, from the Jurassic coast to the sandy beaches of Sandbanks. Perhaps a lesser known fact is that the fertile soil is rich in clay, chalk and flint and echos the soil type found in the Champagne region of France. It is for this reason that many of the wineries in this part of the country produce many of the country’s award winning sparkling wine.
The Fairmile Vineyard, which we recommend
